ABOUT US
At Zubaan Training, we specialize in providing Urdu services & products for expats in Pakistan & around the world. This includes specialized courses in Urdu to corporate & private clients, publishing & material development, & translation services. Zubaan training was founded in 2017 by Michaela Bekaan, an experienced foreign language teacher and intercultural trainer.
Zubaan training is a hub for language learning & cross-cultural encounters. We are passionate about helping others grow in Urdu for real-life communication.
A good balance of theory and practice, drills and fun challenges.
The teachers are very kind and patient.
It's hard to find good Urdu teachers let alone ones that are flexible to your work, can come to your office, and are trained in teaching methods that actually help with everyday language problems and focus on getting the language to work for you. Zubaan does this really well and I'm glad to be a client!
"My teacher had clear passion for the language and teaching it. She was encouraging and tried picking topics that were of interest to me. She forced me to speak and use any new words and phrases before moving on. That was really helpful!"
I specified that I wanted to focus on speaking and that's exactly what we did. I particularly liked the used of the online whiteboard as it made the lessons fun and interactive.
I enjoyed the variety of activities in class. Time in class flew by very quickly, it didn't feel like work.
The course was very enjoyable for me because it met my learning needs and was well-structured. For instance, I received blended learning as I also wanted to improve my reading and writing skills. The course also aligned with the CEFR standards. The materials were high-quality and the teachers were proficient and experienced - they gave me great support and feedback.
I really enjoyed the videos from BBC and Urdupoint about issues of life in Pakistan. This helped me understand culture more and stretched my listening skills and ability to hear more native speech. It was also good to balance that with a bit of focused grammar revision.
