Class Prices

The price of the classes varies by course type: in-person/online, individual/group, amount of hours, etc.

Overall, class prices range from about 1,100-3000 Pakistani Rupees (PKR) per hour. This is about $4-7 USD per hour (depends on exchange rate).

There are steep discounts available for group classes and other ways to save.

These courses are more customizable to meet learning goals, cover topics of interest & improve weaker areas.

You will progress in these areas for each level:

B1: Understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, leisure, school, etc. Deal with most situations likely to arise whilst traveling. Produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar. Describe experiences & events, dreams & ambitions & briefly give reasons & explanations for opinions & plans.
B2: Understand main ideas of complex concrete & abstract topics. Interact with native speakers with a degree of spontaneity for ease of communication. Produce clear, detailed speech on a wide range of subjects & explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the pros & cons of various options
C1: Understand a wide range of demanding, longer speech, & recognize implicit meaning. Communicate more fluently, spontaneously, & naturally. Use language flexibly & effectively for social, academic & professional purposes. Produce clear, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of patterns, connectors & cohesive devices.

📖 Reading + ✍️ Writing

What to expect this from the course:

Take you from the initial recognition of letters all the way to being able to read & write words, sentences, & eventually longer paragraph.
Detailed explanations of each letter with practice for writing, letter & sound recognition activities, & a variety reading & writing activities.
Develop reading & writing subskills, including understanding words from context, sight reading, intensive, & extensive reading skills, & more.
Well-developed coursebook & MP3 audio files for all sound recognition activities & reading & writing practices.

*Can be taken as a stand-alone course or incorporated with speaking & listening courses.

Take classes online from anywhere or in-person classes at our training center in Karachi (Bahadurabad), Islamabad (F7-1), or your home/office.

What About Other Tutoring Websites?

We encourage you to be exposed to as much Urdu as possible, so it may to be your advantage to learn with us & to learn with other tutors. This also may give you exposure to various Urdu accents.

However, there are a few considerations to keep in mind:

Most tutoring websites do not offer a free trial. We have a 30-minute free trial/demo/taster class available (in-person & online).
You will find some entry-level tutors available at a lower price point than ours. However, for well-trained, highly-rated tutors, their prices are consistently above our prices – particularly because they charge in US Dollar.
You may have to “try” several tutors before you find someone who is organized, structured, & helps you make progress. You will not have this worry with Zubaan tutors.
You may have communication or scheduling challenges. Our admin staff are professional, timely, & clear communicators, and we ensure the schedule is suitable & consistent for you.
